BDSM is the acronym for bondage, domination, sadism
and masochism. AMARRAS is this and much more.
This is a comic strip about whips,
handcuffs and climbing ropes. Enter this world accompanied by those who know what they are doing – people
different from each other, with different experiences.
Amarras talks about sex, consent, communities, relationships and history with great care and curiosity.
The comics journalism piece was released in 2022
by Tangerina Books, my independent publisher.
That same year we received a
Special Mention at the 1st Latin American Comics Award.
In 2024, Amarras won the 36th Angelo Agostini Trophy for Best Independent Publication of 2022.
The comic is available to read on my
online store and in specialized comic shops,
such as Monstra and Ugra Press , in São Paulo.
